(Rizor & Ian) New Adventures Ahead!

Rizor walked through the Tunican Field not knowing exactly where he was. It seemed as though he had been walking around in circles for quite a while. He wasn't sure exactly what had brought him to this place but he had a feeling that it was the right direction for him to be moving in. If only he knew exactly what he was supposed to be doing or where he was supposed to be going. 'I was hoping to make some new friends here, but I don't see anyone around at all. I hope somebody shows up soon.' Eventually, he found a nice patch of grass that seemed to be more thick and supportive than the rest. He hadn't seen any other pokemon around yet to ask for directions so he thought that it would be a good time for a nap.

'Well, if there is nobody around and I don't know where I'm going I might as well pass the time by recharging myself so I can be ready!' He laid down on the patch of grass and as soon as he closed his eyes he was out cold. He must have been tired from all that trudging around aimlessly. Hopefully a pokemon would come along soon to help him out.

Through the calm fields walked a lone, whitish-yellow Natu. He had been walking for several hours now, and as his entire trip was uneventful, he began to grow bored. As such, mixed in with his stepping was the occasional hop, followed by a quick flapping of his wings. Ever since he obtained his Natu form, he had always been curious to see if he could actually do something with it - in this case, fly. But a Natu was a poor choice of bird to try flying with, especially with underdeveloped wings and a round body that was quite the opposite of aerodynamic.

After many failed attempts, and one spectacular crash off of a hill, Ian picked himself up and dusted himself off as best he could. He rubbed his sore beak, which had taken the brunt of the force of landing, and as he did so managed to glance at a patch of tan-brown in the distant grass. It seemed quite out of place, and it puzzled him enough to investigate. As he hopped closer, he noticed it was a Pokemon - a Sandshrew - who appeared to be asleep in the grass.

Now, if Ian had transformed into a Natu upon entry into the dimension, there was no telling what the rest of his friends became. Seeing this anonymous Sandshrew suddenly made him realize that astonishing fact. There was no way he'd be able to recognize any of them in a crowd for instance, nor they him. He could very well be one of them, or anyone else he knew... but there was only one way to find out. He pecked softly at the shrew's head, to get him to wake up. Chances are, if this Pokemon wasn't who he was looking for, he'd be able to at least help him out in the search.

As Rizor was pecked on the head, he rolled over. "No mom, not yet...Not school already..." he mumbled under his breath. It seemed like he would just go back to sleep but at some point his mind connected with his body and he jolted awake. "Woah there!" he said as he straightened up. As his vision got less and less blurry a small yellow bird came into focus. "Hello friend!" he said cheerfully. It wasn't that he recognized the Natu, he just considered everyone his friend unless they gave him reason to think otherwise. He hadn't had many friends in his past life, so he had decided as soon as he became a pokemon that he would try to do better in that form.

As Rizor looked around, he remembered what had happened. He was lost, and he needed help. He sat up and realized that he hadn't properly introduced himself. "Oh, silly me, I'm sorry! My name is Rizor! I seem to be a bit disoriented. First I was lost...then I took a nap...and well to be quite honest now I am even more lost than I was before. Oh, but anyways what is your name?" he inquired. He was always happy to meet someone new, especially someone that might be able to assist him. He didn't have much memory at all of how he had ended up in this place.

When the Sandshrew jolted awake, Ian found himself jumping a little at the suddenness of it. No one he knew was quite that cheery... except for maybe Lewis on some days, but he would have used larger words... so nothing about this Pokemon struck him as familiar. Oh well, it was worth a shot. He listened to the Sandshrew introduce himself as Rizor, a rather odd name, and that he was lost. Well, so was he, in all actuality, but he wouldn't be nearly as quick to admit it. Plus, he was barely starting to get the hang of the place. He already knew it much better than he did when he first came to and realized he hadn't any well-defined limbs.

"You can call me Ian," he responded contentedly. "You're lost, eh...? Where exactly is it that you're headed?" He looked around a bit, then back at Rizor. "Or have you any idea in the first place?" Didn't look like it. And Ian didn't really know either. At this point, he was just striking up a conversation to cure him of his boredom. "This is really such a nice field, out here... I don't mind being lost, to be honest." There, he admitted that he was lost himself in a way that didn't embarrass him. That's one weight off his shoulders... wings... head... or whatever body part applied to a Natu.
